         <description><![CDATA[<div>Introduction<br>Are you jaded of being stolen conection WIFI?<br>There is a way to solve this problem without needing to manage&nbsp; a network computer. And the solution is to use a MAC adress filter.<br><br>Give reasons why not or why yes<br><br>The simplest way is to use a white list in the MAC address filter, this is introduce a list of devices that we want to connect, exluding the rest. Provide security and simplicity.<br>The disadvantage is having to authorize your friends or family whenever they want to connect.<br><br>Conclusion&nbsp;<br><br>If your are a person with&nbsp;<br>lack of social life, use this filter.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Using MAC address filtering as a viable security option is a good idea, because it allows you to control who is accessing to your access point.<br><br>On one hand you can make a list of trusted computers and give them permission to use your internet connection,<br>so nobody out of the list can attack your network. Te best option is to combine MAC filtering with a WPA protocol to ensure that the user who is using the computer is not an intruder.<br><br>On the other hand, this procedure is very bothersome. The administrator needs to know every MAC address and&nbsp;<br>keep the list updated, so is not a good idea if you are managing a big network.<br><br>To conclude, if you are trying to improve your own network security by combining WPA and MAC filtering you have made the right choice. But if you are administrating a company network you should use more sophisticated protocols like RADIUS.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>MAC adress filtering is a way to secure your Wi-Fi from external attacks. It consists in the fact that the user is who chooses the MAC adresses that can acces the net.<br><br>In my opinion this way of securing the Wi-Fi is a really good choice, allowing the user to customize the list so only known addresses can access.<br><br>On the other hand, despite the fact that it is a good choice, it also has cons, for example, how tedious can be to make the access list if you want to let in a huge number of MAC addresses.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The most common method of securing a WIFI network is done by the use of a password.<br><br>However,&nbsp; very determined hackers can bypass this type of security which is where MAC address filtering comes in.<br><br>MAC address filtering allows only trusted computers to connect to your network by using the unique serial number embedded in your computer.<br><br>I believe this method is a great way to improve the security of your network, however, using this in networks with a lot of computers can be a hassle which is why I think it's only viable in networks with few computers, like the one you have at your home.</div>]]></description>
