Our teaching staff consists of 58 professionals devoted to a whole body of 560 students ranging from 12 to 18 years old. Due to its location, our activities are carried out in a multicultural environment in which different challenges, both educational and social, arise on a daily basis. We are on our way to cross-curricular project teaching, and we encourage our students to make their best to prepare for post-obligatory studies, even if the social and economic background from the students’ side is not the most favorable. From our point of view, working with the whole group has been a bit difficult, and we needed more time in order to finish each activity (in fact, more than 45h).
The vocabulary used to deal with this topic has been quite difficult for our students, as they didn't have previous knowledge in their mother tongue.
Students have a positive point of view of the activities presented since they had the opportunity to share knowledge, doubts and exchange opinions with the Language Assistant from our High school. Everything our students have learnt during this project can be useful in their real lifes and put into practice.
we think the result is positive, and we are sure they have enjoyed while learning. They have always felt motivated, and this is the reason they have participated a lot. We are quite satisfied with the result.
