once the fishers get to the fish plant or landing site people take the fish and weigh them, log them, inspect them, then process them.

once the fish are done being inspected, they get cleaned (gutted, de-scaled, skinned, etc) then get sorted by size. fish may then be frozen, vacuum sealed, put in cans, or smoked to preserve them.

Distribution

Once fish are done being processed, they are transported in refrigerated trucks or containers to wholesalers, markets, and retailers.

Retail and Sale
