* I don't like to micromanage because I think it inhibits growth and creativity.
* I believe in the power of collaboration, so I'll often ask for your input when creating systems and processes for the front desk.
* Honesty and communication are the foundation of everything I do in life, so please remember to ALWAYS communicate with me.
* I believe that questions and curiosity are valuable in life. Don't be shy to ask questions if you don't know an answer.
* Mistakes happen and they can be fixed, so if you mess up, let me know. We'll try to fix it together.
* So long as shifts are covered and everyone is doing their best to keep the front desk operating smoothly, I'm a happy camper. 
* I will ALWAYS have your back. I had supervisors who supported me and I made the promise that I'd do the same for my own teams. 
* If you're interested in growing and developing certain skills for future careers or positions, let me know and I'll help you along your journey by having you help with certain aspects of our day-to-day operations. 
* If you're going to be late or have to miss a shift because of an emergency, contact me immediately. 
* Some of my most valuable life skills were learned working as a front desk specialist for SL County. Each shift is an opportunity to learn more about yourself and the community we live in. 
* I'm OK with snacks at the front desk, but no over-the-top meals, please. If you're starving and didn't get a chance to eat, call and ask me to cover for 10-15 minutes. If I'm available, I'll gladly help out while you eat.
* I don't want patrons to ever see you on your cell phones, please. Give them your full attention. 
* If you have to answer "I don't know" to a center-related question when speaking to a patron, write down what it was and come to me. This may be an indication that I haven't either given the information or I wasn't clear in instructions. 
* I know that front desk can sometimes feel really, really boring, but I promise you: there's always something to do. If you need a task, call me and I'll give you something. If you're afraid of what I'll give you, find ways to keep busy.
* If you have an idea for the front desk, I'm always happy to hear recommendations. You're all there, so you should have a say in how certain things operate.

* I think celery is the nastiest vegetable ever. I seriously hate it.
* I'm probably the worst bowler in the world. 
* I'm really sarcastic and I love to laugh. I promise you'll see this side of me soon enough.
* I have five brothers and no sisters.
* I like most types of music. It just depends on my mood.

* Food always makes me happy, like, it's probably kinda pathetic how happy it makes me.
