Honestly, I'm in the minority b/c I've never used it. I get too nervous that what it writes for me will not be accurate or well done and/or I will become reliant on it.

i use ai to get synonyms for words when i want specific connotations and vibes, and then i also use it for checking code. thats it, i havent found it useful for answering basic homework questions or giving accurate summaries of books/writing.

I sometimes use AI to summarize really difficult and complex research papers or scholarly articles that are given to students in class. It really helps especially if the reading is meant to be at a level that we cannot particularly understand.

I use AI almost exclusively for coding and old photo restoration. I have never used in academically otherwise- just experimentally.

I have used AI several times for my papers. For example, I can copy/paste what I have in my paper and I ask ChatGPT to give me ideas of different topics I can use to expand my paper. I then choose my favorite one and write about that.

I have only used it for inspiration and ideas/concepts for planning my papers or work, I’ve been too scared to become reliant on it. It is important to me that I am able to form my own ideas and concepts without the help or use of AI

I use ChatGPT to make and create D&D campaigns. Its a really helpful tool to track timelines, characters, and long lists of events and such. Also helps with generating randomized characters and events. Its like a little online unpaid intern.

Sometimes I use it when I have to do weekly responses based on a reading or to a classmate. Usually its after I've been responding myself for half the semester and then feel like its a waste of my time....

Another way is when I am stuck on something a write and ask the bot how it personally would continue to give me ideas on how to move foward

I use AI for a lot of tasks. However, I am going reconsider after learning about all the energy it uses. I use it to give me ideas for lesson plans and other teaching related tasks. I also use it for a lot of medical stuff (I mean I feel like the government knows anyone so no use in hiding) but I usually input MRI reports in chatGBT because the language is too advance for me to understand.

I use Grammarly when writing papers, only for the spell/grammar check capabilities. Other than that, I've not used a resource like ChatGPT for assignments. I don't want to become reliant on having my work done for me.

I have yet to use AI, however I Have been encouraged to use it as a tool such as a personal tutor. I have yet to try this out

I have played around with AI to see if there were any real uses to me. I have had AI organize paragraphs to make papers flow better but wasnt impressed with the work it did.

I use AI in a checking standpoint. I feel i struggle with condensing my thoughts and or phrases so sometimes i turn to AI to see how I could reword or rewrite ideas. I also do love to see what it has to say about current events and or historical events as its amazing to see what technology can teach or push notions on us today.

I have not used AI aside from of unintentionally viewing Gemini's automatic responses when I Google something, which admittedly is difficult to avoid because it tends to be the first thing that pops up. Because it is often inaccurate, I make an effort to find the next top result.

I normally use chatgpt to describe themes or summarize something I read for class if I wasn't able comprehend it that well/when I don't have to time to read something thoroughly. I'll also use it for brainstorming ideas that I can write about when my mind is blank.

I've often used AI to expand my ideas for further brainstorming or summaries of large texts. I also regularly use AI grammar checkers such as Grammarly to help during my everyday work. Ever since the addition of creative AI such as the one implemented into Instagram messages, I've started to ask it to imagine me in certain scenarios, such as wresting with a shark.

I currently use AI to double-check my work. For example, if I am writing a paper or an email, I will paste it into ChatGPT and ask it to check if my grammar or sentences make sense

I use ChatGPT or other science and math-focused AI's to generate practice problems for classes like calculas and chemistry. I would copy and paste a previous problem that I worked on and have it generate something similar. I also use it to edit my spellcheck my work on things like discussion post or essays.

I use AI occasionally to write my papers when I hit writer's block and my brain is so scrambled that it can't function. So I use it for it's little starters or conclusions just little tips and tricks to keep me going

Last semester I took a course on artificial intelligence based on the book, "You look like a thing and I love you". In this course we explored the capabilities and restrictions of AI. That course is the only experience with ai that I have, the course did not encourage me to utilize it especially considering how many resources it requires to function.

I don’t like relying on AI, and to be entirely honest, when it comes to writing I never have and never will use AI. I don’t like the idea of Siri and chatGPt either, the only time I ever have and will use AI is when it comes to mathematical applications, and even then I’ve found that they often come up incorrect. AI seems to be more trouble than its worth.
