Es un aprendizaje donde el alumno debe conocer sus propios estilos y modos de aprender, ya que entendiéndolos mejor podrá potencializarlos.  Él es responsable de su de aprendizaje. Docente debe asumir un rol que complemente esto y lo apoye, orientando y promoviendo la interacción.
 Aprender de manera autogestiva conlleva:

  • Responsabilizarte en la administración de tu tiempo y de tus horarios para el estudio.
  • Apropiarte de los contenidos y de llevar un seguimiento oportuno en la realización de las actividades.
  • Identificar cómo manejar y evitar las distracciones al momento de estudiar.
  • Desarrollar hábitos y estrategias que ayuden a manejar el estrés.
  • Tener en mente tus objetivos académicos y motivacionales con el fin de ser persistente y superar dificultades y retos académicos.
