I was born on February 29, 2008. The things that I love doing are dancing, walking with music on, watching KDramas, and eating good food. I have a baby brother named Shawn Michael; he has the cutest eyes ever. I've been loving being his sister; it's been a great experience.

I am a grade 12 student in Ateneo De Davao University Senior High School. I still can't believe this will be my last school year in high school and last schoolyear before entering college, but I am excited for it.

My senior high school journey has been a roller coaster ride. I learned how to be independent since I am living alone, and learned a lot of life lessons along the way. This journey has taught me that you will never be at the top constantly; life will humble you in many ways, but when you have God by your side, you know you can overcome all the challenges life throws at you. In this journey, I have met new friends who became my outlet when I needed help with my academic needs, and most importantly, they made my journey enjoyable and bearable. During this journey, I have doubted my capabilities many times. Sometimes, I think I did not do a great job just because I couldn't achieve what I wanted to accomplish, and I had many hurtful words that I wanted to say out loud because I was disappointed with my grades. Grades have been the most challenging for me, and I know almost all of the students find it hard to achieve high grades, so that they can feel the pleasure and meet the expectations of others, which is what I felt during my first year as a senior high.

It would make you question a lot and reflect on yourself to find the purpose of achieving things that do not focus on meeting the expectations of others. In this journey, I achieved things because I wanted to, not because others wanted me to. I would say senior high school will make you mature and be ready to enter adulthood because you will learn a lot, which will make you think maturely. To conclude my realization in this journey, I want to applaud myself because I did great, I learned how to socialize and balance my academic and personal life. I did not give up, even if life made me want to give up. I doubted myself a lot, but I started to trust my abilities.

Learn to trust and appreciate yourself.
