We have two full time instructional coaches and one part time instructional coach who I have already started to collaborate with this year. I will continue to work with our SPED, ESOL, Math, and Reading team to help implement the learning model across the school.

Ensure staff have the updated resources and guidance. During first week back specifically identify the difference between the old and new FCPS learning model. Identify how evaluation performance standards align with indicators within the learning model, and link resources in Atlas to support teachers learning. Include the framework on CT agenda's and use indicators to drive work throughout the school year.

I will partner, plan, and help lead this work with my instructional team - Instructional Coach, MYP coordinator and partner SBTS. We have already done incredible work around UDL and POG POL and I am excited to dive into this as well with my team.

We have a new instructional coach this year and I'm excited to partner with him to embed these concepts into our weekly CLT meetings. I'm also the Lead Mentor and will work with my co-lead to support our new staff in using UDL practices. I love that this is so much more clearly defined and connected to other things now.

This year we are departmentalizing so I think this will lead to more of an impact when i attend CLTs with a smaller more focus group of teachers and can work with wither our Math or LA leads to support the learning and planning

Helping and supporting teachers in leveraging all the technology available will be key. Creating and planning with digital tools that actually meet student needs and learning styles and really looking at how they learn best, not just using a tool to use the tool.

I believe the importance is keeping it simple with our staff. Establishing a baby step approach will assist with better adoption. As leaders of technology, our lens of applying instructional technology will help make it more feasible for our teachers to adapt. Having teachers actually see how technological resources correlates with UDL is a must. I believe this should be done in a foundational manner. If we rush and push, the foundation will not stick.

Technology provides not only multiple pathways of learning to reach all of our diverse learners, but helps with the planning. Specifically the utilization of AI with planning can help establish a dynamic approach without teachers feeling so burdened.

We actually have been going outside our school sometimes. We have been reaching out to certain people around PoG, IS, etc to help support either with our planning or actual implementation. They are experts and bring a larger view and ideas from other schools. Plus most of the time they really like being in the building and doing the hands on work.
