* Barriers: time to implement, having to make a decision between preparing students to pass a test (MAP or State) that determine how effective I am vs. preparing my students to be literate citizens of the future. 
* Overcoming personal barrier: mentally make the decision and advocate for what is most important and be okay with the results whatever they may be. 
* Admins and District Leaders: Stop using state testing, MAP, etc. as a punitive measure for teachers and rather they are effective or not. The only thing in the teachers circle of control is the instruction that happens. - Need more time to function and keep my head above water.
- Getting other teachers on board so we can collaborate more on lessons 
- Getting rid of state testing (or at least the pressures associated with the scores) would be amazing and allow for more time to "take risks" (I can dream )

What are your barriers? Not having my own devices to use with students and having to depend on teachers and students to have the device to use.

What can you do to overcome the barriers? Request to have devices for students at least six to use when I meet with them one on one or in a group.
