I chose this quote because Sam Fisher is the best Splinter Cell and is also one of the first. This is big in the book because he has no one in the book he can go to for advice. He has to figure everything out himself being the first spy in this new era. Like when he needs to get by a unknown type of security he has all the info his team in Washintion can give. Then he need to do the rest himself.

In this book review the writer talks a lot about how the book was based on the game. I played the game before I read the book too. And they said that the book made you feel like you were playing the game and I agree. The book plays out like it has levels. The end of each chapter gives you the same feeling of realif like you just got out of the real thing. Also in the game all the missions are building up to a finaly. And in games and books like this, this is usually the best part because you finaly get to complete the finale mission that its been building up. And the review pointed this out which I like

The P.O.V. in the book is first person The P.O.V. in the book is first person, but its done in a way where the main chariter know a lot. The main chariter Sam Fisher is very educated and always making a comment in his head about the situation. this could be a peice of info the reader didnt really know like a fun fact you would hear on a tour bus. Or it can be a feature someone has and it could come back and be really inportent to the plot.

the book uses dramatic irony a lot because he is talking about him self and sometimes will tell the reader what will happen before it happens and I really like when this happens because it makes the book seem more humane and it added to the story telling feel the book has

In the book review there were a lot of connections to the video game and before I read the book I played the game and all though there are two diffrent plot i agree that the book relays the same feeling that the game did. Becasue in parts when he had to come up with a creative way to get out of a situation like when he crashed a snowmobile into a tree so his pursuers would think he died. In the game you need do do things like this to send your eniemes off track
