Saying goodbye my family and friends was difficult, especially that I know there's a chance I won't make it back. But, thanks to the hard work put in to the making of the ship and ensuring my safety, I know that the odds of me not returning are very low. I'm very excited for my trip and I can't wait to make history.

The ride up here was scary but I'm about 116 miles away from Earth and its so peaceful. It mostly silent and I feel weightless. I've been up here for about 15 minutes and as much as I love being in space, we have to return to Earth.
