In the order it was stated that scientists can conduct responsible and scientific research including embryonic research. As long as it does not go against the law.

There are two types of stem cells. Adult or tissue stem cells make up their own tissues. Like blood stem cells make up blood, so do muscle stem cells and so on. The second type of stem cell, is the embryonic stem cell. These particular cells are called pluripotent because they also make copies of themselves. They can become any type of cell that make up the human body. The adult tissue stem cell are dedicated cells for repairing and maintaining specific tissues. These embryonic stem cells represent a very early stage in development. This development starts with the early embryo. As the process keeps going , they become more and more restricted and channelled. Each cell in our body contains something that specifically determines, what sort of tissue the cell becomes and it's cell identity. All of our cells contains the same genes however in skin cell only the genes that make up skin proteins are turn on. The active genes are always in the unwound open areas. Another genes that make up the liver for example are turned off. They are also tightly locked away.
