Often, the wealthier you are, the higher the class you belong to. Stereotypically, working class people have lower incomes, and their employment is often related to (but not limited to) things such as customer service and manual labour. Middle class people stereotypically have a decent job, with professions such as accountancy or managerial roles. Upper class people are often very wealthy, having been born into upper class families. It is a clear sign of those who have, and those who do not. Those who oppress and those who are opressed. It is the biggest divide in humanity and is vital to a person's identity. It's often thought that the lower class you are, the more expendable. However, the lower classes are the ones who actually do all the work and bring about the real change. In many ways, they're the driving force in history. To downplay the importance of class is quite foolish as it is the one thing that shows who contributes meaningfully to the world and who simply reap the rewards of other people's work.
