Then mama started to get mad at Walter for what he said about money and stated in her time, she was worried about being lynched, going to north and staying alive and complaining about how ungrateful Walter is for things mama has "done". he was upset with hi wife for not telling him and he had to find out by his mother. I think his mother should have wait for the wife to tell him instead of her telling her son Walter. The wife should have told Walter what she was doing and that she was pregnan.
