1. Her face lit up when her father told her the news. She began jumping for joy. She finally was a big sister to her new younger brother. She was spinning loosely. She began humming a tune as she was waiting for her father to take her to the hospital to see her new little brother.

2. Tears began welling up in my eyes, blocking my vision as I looked at my leg. My lower lip jutted out as I wrapped my arms around myself. The scar on my leg reminded me of my late pet dog. Tears began trickling down my cheeks, and eventually I broke into a shuddering sobs. I missed him very much. I just wished that I could play with him one more time and say goodbye.

3. John let out a roar of rage. His anger knew no bounds. He found out about what had happened to his project. He had worked so hard for the project and now it was wasted. I was in for it. I could even see the veins in his neck throbbing. His face began to turn red. Steam erupted from his nostrils. "Terence!” he bellowed. I gulped in anxiety. I began to break into a run to the front door. But, when I reached the spot, he was blocking my only exit. He let out a battle cry and hit me with a powerful blow, square on my nose. Crimson blood went down trickling down my nose as he sent me flying. When my head hit the ground, everything was black. He had knocked me unconscious.
