Pilar used phrases that "attacked" and got the public thinking.

I wanted to be more optimistic and encouraged people to be kind.

I feel good when I read some motivational phrases on my Instagtam that makes me more excited about the day or just makes me reflect about my actions to other people.

This was my inspiration for this project, through messages and sentences to help incentivate people to be better, motivate them and lift them up.

We wrote quotes and phrases related to current issues on several small wood planks, and left them throughout Bolton town. 

The quotes presented are from artists, sociologists, writers, and thinkers who state where society is failing and show its unquestionable effects to others.

- With the balloons, the idea was to know how to interact with the public and who to interact with. (Children can be easier to interact if we offer them something to do; some adults are reluctant to interact with other people; older people are also easy to interact with)

- Use Low-cost products (print in fabrics, old clothes, newspapers).

- Posters – Prints (Screenprint, Linoprints, Monoprints, Wallpapers) stencils,

logos (digital), collages (search of sentences and old photos about societal

issues), photography and video. We will need to consider the size of the surface

and its materiality.

- Materials and methods change to reflect our contemporary culture. The process should seek out the most imaginative and productive affinity between artist and community.

All the hall can be used and the staircases

We will stay responsible for the space and keep the keys during the show

The art we do is for the community; we don't need any kind of acceptance.

Pilar and I felt that our art didn't need to be accepted, we only needed it to be seen and to be a way to intervene in public space. 

It was already clear where the World was headed since the last semester, Europe is at war and now it is being "normalized" as Corona-virus, and these actions need to be stopped since lives are at risk. 

Many people don't know where they're heading and we are trying to help them. While we know our dreams and ambitions, there are many others who are unsure.

In this case, we are simply leaving something outside and trying to make them see, at least for those who are more or less aware of our Reality.

We can't force other people to look at art, but we can make a concerted effort to make it visible.
