         <description><![CDATA[<div>Forces awareness of cross curricular learning (consistency across subjects)<br>Allows students to comment and think about who they are as a learner as a whole being and identify what they can do<br>Brings it back to how we view children as who they are and becoming<br>Allows for building relationships and connections<br>Personal awareness of who they are as a member of society<br>Gives students the language for reflecting on these skills<br>Identity - through understanding themselves, they understand the world around them - intersectionality <br><strong>What aspects do you still have challenges implementing? <br></strong>Self reflection - can sometimes be a struggle/time consuming --&gt; heavy lifting (what tools and supports for self reflection?) <br>Self-reflection might not be consistent enough, even though language is embedded within classroom --&gt; How do we do it in a way that's not a "hoop jump"? How might learning experiences reflect the CC? <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>-Heavy lifting? Folks are already doing this with the CCs. Passionate. Doing what you enjoy is not heavy. <br>-The challenge for the primary students to  ‘self reflect’’ and be meta cognitive. They’re are still developing self, so hard for them to make sense of it all. <br>-balancing the CCs and keeping your own biases out of the way. Read and react to the students. <br>- the classes that are the most explicit in using The CCs are primary classes. Their students are the least able to reflect on those due to their age/maturity. </div>]]></description>
