Madeline is one of the books that I do remember having access to at home. My third grade teacher read so many of these books to us! I get extremely excited when I see teachers reading these books to their students. At my current placement, my CT is reading one of these to our class and it is in Spanish! More specifically, books that were written about historical moments.  I really enjoy reading about the past. The Salem Witch Trials was an assigned reading, but I enjoyed it and I can still recall most pieces. I didn't do much reading in high school, but I can say that I really enjoyed reading my sophomore and junior years of high school. Books such as Of Mice and Men, and Lord of the Flies are still some of my favorites. In my Spanish 5 class we read Como Agua Para Chocolate, Don Juan Tenorio, I came to really enjoy those two. When I do find books that interest me I can sit and read almost the entire book in two days. It takes me that long because of my little ones! Otherwise it'd be in a sitting. I hope to build a personal library, so I am definitely in need of book suggestions.
