Tiffany wrote the Creed. It was wrote as an exhibit. Tiffany was raised on a farm. As Tiffany explored the other states with Agriculture teachers he sought an opportunity for young farm boys to succeed with FFA. In 1928 E.M. Tiffany wrote the FFA creed, in 1930 it was officially adopted by the National FFA organization. Sargent worked to increase the number of African-American advisors and students. Sargent had started working in 1917, when he was working there were 39 programs available. There was a n enrollment of 1,025. In 1996 the first awards for H.O. Sargent was presented. While Henry and 3 others were teaching agriculture education in September 1925 established the FFV.  He helped bring the FFA to the state of Virginia in the 1930's while leading the chapter he was reconised by the FFA capital. Without even knwing it he helped spead FFA all over the east coast.
