I have used different technologies to demonstrate my technological skill in media and also to make my blog more interesting to read. Some of these websites are easier to use in comparison to others, for example emaze is more complex that powerpoint however they produce similar products - being powerpoints. I began using Windows Movie Maker however due to feedback from the class it was discovered that Windows Movie Maker gave the overall feel of the trailer unprofessional looking. I have used my classmates to aid me when using Sony Vegas 13 as it is a lot more advanced than Windows Movie Maker. I have also used a royalty free website in order to get the sound for my trailer; I have done this so that I do not breach any copyright rules which would be a serious issue.
For my ancillary task I have predominantly used Photoshop which I am familiar with as I used it in my AS coursework.
