Commission - an order for something to be produced (a piece of pottery, for instance)
Slip -  a creamy mixture of clay and water used like an adhesive or glue when making ceramics
Glaze - a substance fused to ceramics through the process of firing.  This consists of various metals and minerals.  It's the "paint" of ceramics that makes clay non-porous, allowing it to hold water.
Incising Awl - This is a tool used to make incisions, or shallow cuts, into clay.  You can see how this is used at the 2:00 mark in the video from the prereading entry.  
Planing Tool - A "plane" is a flat surface.  A planing tool is a tool a potter uses to create smooth surfaces on his or her work.
Chrysanthemum - This is a type of flower.  See it here.

1.  Be a YouTuber:  Pretend you're a vlogger and make a video about this chapter, explaining 3-4 of the most important parts of the chapter to your subscribers (and potential subscribers).

2.  Be a professional reader:  Choose 4-5 of the most significant passages from the chapter and read them aloud to your audience.

3.  Be an actor and director: Make a short movie clip in which you act out 3-4 of the key moments in this chapter.
4.  Be a character: Make a video diary entry from the perspective of one of the characters in the chapter. 
5.  Good Cop, Bad Cop: Play the role of good cop and bad cop and interview different characters from the chapter.
