Serena- The scariest thing I watched was "US" because I hate the idea of clones and clones wanting to replace you. Just the way they were standing was ugh! I also hated "smile" because creepy human faces are yucky.

My friends made me watch a movie called The Crazies. It was awful. It was slightly too realistic to be able to just write it off as pretend horror, and it was very gruesome and gory. We all agreed that the first half of it was especially bad and not like what any of us were expecting.

Annie - The scariest thing that I have ever watched is this movie called Hereditary. The movie itself was really really good, but it was a litle disturbing and made me feel really tense the whole time. I watched the Conjuring a couple of years ago and I regret it to this day. I don't mess with horror movies and I really did not like that one. I might be a little bit of a wimp but I had trouble sleeping for a while after that one. I'm also afraid of heights but this movie was the most recent scary thing I have watched or experienced.

I do not watch or read scary things. This is largely due to the fact that I am definitely a scaredy-cat and would probably have nightmares if I watched a horror movie.

Ethan- Personally I do not watch scary movies and with the movies I have watched were more thrillers than horror movies. Honestly I have the hope to try and watch some Halloween movies this year.

The scariest movie I've seen is Sinister. The use of the tapes played throughout the movie depicting events that are very possible combined with the eerie buildup to a sudden jumpscare was rather spooky, one might say.

I do not watch very many movies, so I have not seen many horror movies. The movies that I have watched I just did not think were very scary. The "jump scares" that are in modern scary movies are too predictable and are just not very scary.

I think the scariest movie I've seen is "The Thing" by John Carpenter. The movie is about an alien life form that could assimilate and imitate all life. It's full of body horror and psychological horror.
