Goal attainment is being able to give verbal/written evidence of one's learning.

It is important in a personalised learning space because students are self-regulated and it will only be clear to them whether they are able to progress or not if the evidence of their learning is clear and feedback provided.

In a student led/ personalized space, it is all the more important, because a student sets a goal based on his unique strengths. He aims to become an independent learner so goal attainment is prime.
