I agree with this statement because fossil fuels are the dominant cause of global warming, coal is the dirtiest of the fossil fuels and responsible for the increase in global average temperatures. When fossil fuels burn, it releases a large amount of carbon dioxide, it creates a lot of air pollution as the gases trap heat in the atmosphere, causing global warming, extreme weather, biodiversity loss, species extinction and worsening health and poverty for millions of people.
