As I grew up, I had the best parents who did everything they could to give me a memorable childhood. In 2012, my dad died from a rare disorder that we were unaware about until it was too late. In his last few days, we found out that my sister lives with the same disorder. Ever since this time in my life, I have made sure to live life to the fullest because you never know when the world will turn its back on you. I started travelling the world, got closer with my mom and sister, and stopped worrying about little problems in life. I attended a charter school that goes from K-12, and I have been there since kindergarten. Up until junior year, I didn't had too bad of a school experience. As I grew up, people that I used to be friends with, started to change up on me and I wasn't happy anymore. I would tell my mom I felt sick, when really I was scared I would get beat up or deal with mean girls. I felt that it would be best for me to continue my education from home. It was a hard decision, regardless of the treatment I had. Once I got the hang of the transition, I had never felt better. I started working and making some money and found my self worth again and it taught me so much. I got a drum set when I was little and fell in love with them. I started getting lessons and by the time I was 8 years old, I was playing venues in Charlotte with my older sister who plays guitar. I love playing heavy metal or alternative music. Another one of my hobbies is going to the animal shelter and volunteering. I love seeing the nervous and scared dogs open up so they have a better chance of being adopted. You always need to be motivator, but also give some sort of either feedback or constructive criticism. My position where I have to be a leader is my job. Sometimes we all need to keep each other on top of getting everything done and done good, and you have to do and say whatever that takes. Especially when training new employees, it's always best to hear what good and bad you are doing.
