         <title>League of Nations and the UN</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Both the League of Nations and the UN had the primary goals of preventing global conflict (war) and promoting globalization or working with foreign nations for the benefit of all (I.e. providing relief funds for allies, holding meetings, instead of declaring war, etc.). Differences include the fact that the League of Nations failed because key countries like the US didn't join, which made it's presence basically worthless because nothing could get enforced, however the UN now has the US's support (which includes their military)(as of right now, can't speak for the future).</p>]]></description>
