I think it depends on what kind of science you are doing, like if its for a cure to a bad sickness like covid or cancer, it shouldn't be a problem. If its to hurt someone or to make something explode then it should not be aloowed.

I feel like it depends on what you're trying to experiment if what you're experimenting is bad then you shouldn't but if you're trying to experiment something good you should test it out cause it might change you're daily routine - Akentana
