They also want to buy many many products from europe. The vikings focus on producing dairy products and livestock is important to the viking economy. Farming wheat is rare because of the climate but they would love to import some your wheat products.

Vikings are welcome traders and will trade all over Europe. You won't be able to think of a place where the vikings won't trade. They'll trade furs, amber, iron, walrus tusks, and slaves. If you need something, you can probably get it from the Vikings!

As Vikings began to settle in homes, they established workshops. Soon vikings would be making cups, tableware, glass beads, pottery, drinking glasses, combs, leather goods, jewelry, and cloth. The vikings can provide both quality and common goods for the proper European life.

The pagan religion was organized in a much different way compared to Christianity, but the vikings still incorporated religion in their everyday lives. Religion was maintained by the people in their own homes, and it wasn't controlled by separate institutions. However, the vikings still spent time to worship and practice their religion often. For instance, Swedish traders made sacrifices  under a giant oak tree on an island in the black sea to show thanks for a successful trip along the river Dnieper.

There are three main kinds of poems: rune, eddic, and skaldic. These poems generally praise or tell the the deeds of an individual, heroes or a notable person. In fact, some teach simple lessons.

Does he seem like he's going to pop off from disease? But what if there were people who didn't have to lay down and die in destitution? It just so happens that those people are the Vikings! In Scandinavia, women are allowed to take care of the farm and assume authority if their husband dies, making sure they and their children don't die of starvation or end up on the streets.

The Vikings disposed of the dead in a very similar fashion to the Christians. A popular way of disposing of the dead included cremation, and the ashes would be buried in a grave with other grave goods. For high ranking members of society, the ashes were burned along with a ship. High ranking members of society were buried in a large grave with new clothes, and their most expensive items such as furniture, food, animals, and drinks.

Vikings even show hospitality to travelling strangers. Wouldn't you like to be greeted with open arms?

Vikings invite friends and neighbors for a variety of celebrations, and treat quite well. Become friends with a viking and you may get to see a wedding!
