Characters

Emma Price

Age : Early 20s

Role : The protagonist, protective of Lily and determined to seek revenge on her bullies. Strong-willed but conflicted by the moral consequences of her actions.

Lily Price

Age : 16

Role : Emma’s younger sister, a quiet and sensitive victim of bullying. She seeks healing and peace, but struggles with the impact of Emma’s revenge.

Sarah Collins

Age : 17

Role : The main bully, popular and manipulative. Behind her confident facade, she hides insecurities and fears of losing control.

Brian Carter

Age : 17

Role : A passive follower of Sarah. Guilt-ridden, he lacks the courage to stand up for what’s right but is not inherently cruel.

Avrill

Age : 17

Role : Sarah's friend whom informed Sarah about an anonymous post revealing secrets about the bullies

Settings: Emma and Lily’s home, evening. The room is dimly lit, with soft yellow light from a table lamp. Lily is sitting quietly at the kitchen table, staring down at her hands. Emma is pacing the room, agitated.

SCENE ONE

Narration: Emma paces back and forth in front of Lily, her mind racing. Lily is bruised and visibly shaken, still processing the day’s events.

Emma: (Stopping abruptly) I should have been there, Lily. I should have stopped it.

Lily: (Quietly, eyes still downcast) You couldn’t have known. It’s... it’s just how it is now.

Emma: (Angry, voice rising) How it is? No! That’s not how it’s supposed to be. They don’t get to hurt you and just walk away like nothing happened.

Lily: (Shrinking back slightly) Emma... please. I just want to forget it. Can we just let it go?

Emma: (Shakes her head, fiercely) Let it go? They’ve been doing this for months, and no one’s done a thing. The school doesn’t care, their parents don’t care. I won’t let them get away with it, Lily.

(She starts pacing again, hands clenched into fists.)

Lily:(Softly) What are you going to do?

Emma: (Stops, looks at Lily, determination in her eyes) I’m going to make them pay.

SCENE TWO

Narration: The next day. Emma sits at her computer, researching the bullies, gathering information. She takes screenshots of their social media, saves texts Lily has received, and begins to build a plan. The scene transitions to her making anonymous posts, revealing embarrassing secrets about the bullies. The school halls buzz with gossip the following day.

(Cut to the school cafeteria. The main bully, Sarah, is sitting with her friends, all nervously whispering.)

Avrill: (Leaning in to Sarah)Did you see what was posted about you online? Everyone’s talking about it.

Sarah: (Coldly) It’s just some troll. They think they can mess with me? They’ll regret it.

(She shifts uncomfortably, trying to keep her composure, but it’s clear she’s shaken.)

SCENE THREE

Narration: (Emma, waiting outside the school, watches as the gossip spreads. Sarah looks anxious, her confidence fading. Emma’s phone buzzes. It’s a message from Lily: “What are you doing?”)

Emma: (Reading the text, hesitates, then replies) “Getting justice.”

Narration: (Later that night, Emma confronts one of the bullies, Brian, after tracking him down at a party. He’s alone, separated from the crowd.)

Emma: (Coldly, stepping into the shadows where he’s standing) How does it feel? To be the one people are whispering about?

Brian: (Surprised, turning to face her) What are you talking about? Who are you?

Emma: (Stepping closer, voice low) You know exactly who I am. I’m the sister of the girl you’ve been tormenting for months. The girl you thought you could break.

Brian: (Nervous) Look, I... I didn’t mean to... I didn’t think—

Emma: (Cutting him off, voice cold) You didn’t think? Well, now it’s your turn to feel powerless.

(She turns to walk away, but Brian grabs her arm.)

Brian: (Desperate) Wait! Please. I’m sorry, okay? I... I didn’t want to do it. Sarah made me.

Emma: (Snarling) And you just followed along, didn’t you? Spineless.

SCENE FOUR

Narration: (Later, Emma returns home. Lily is waiting for her, visibly upset.)

Lily: (Frustrated) Emma, stop! You’re making things worse.

Emma: (Surprised) Worse? They deserve everything that’s happening to them. After what they did to you—what they did to us.

Lily: (Crying) But this isn’t helping. I don’t want revenge, Emma. I just want it to stop.

Emma: (Softening) I’m doing this for you, Lily. To protect you.

Lily: (Shaking her head) This... this isn’t protecting me. It’s just making me more scared. Of them... and of you.

Narration: (Emma looks at Lily, realizing the toll her actions are taking on her sister.)

Emma: (Slowly) I didn’t mean to...

Narration: (She falters, her anger giving way to guilt.)

Lily: (Quietly) I don’t need you to fight them. I need you to help me heal.

Narration: (Emma stands there, conflicted, the weight of her choices heavy on her shoulders.)

Emma: (Whispering) I’m sorry, Lily. I’m so sorry.

End of Scene

The Art of Weaving: A Symbol of Resilience

Weaving is an ancient craft that has been passed down through generations. It is a symbol of resilience, patience, and creativity. With every thread and every pattern, a weaver tells a story of their culture, traditions, and experiences.

In many indigenous communities, weaving is not just a craft, but a way of life. It is a means of expressing one's identity, preserving cultural heritage, and passing down stories to future generations. The intricate patterns and designs woven into the fabric reflect the weaver's connection to their land, their people, and their traditions.

Weaving is also a metaphor for life. Just as a weaver carefully selects each thread and weaves them together, we too must carefully navigate the complexities of life. We must weave together our experiences, our relationships, and our passions to create a rich and meaningful tapestry.

In conclusion, the art of weaving is a powerful symbol of resilience, creativity, and cultural heritage. It reminds us of the importance of preserving our traditions, honoring our ancestors, and weaving together the threads of our lives to create a beautiful and meaningful whole.
