I need to lean more into using C.A.R.E. time to "elevate" my practice and engage in some of the reading and individual learning I would like to do more of.

I lean towards the " Achieve items on your task/to do list". I used the this time to help set up the classroom for the day. In addition, to connect with families about their child's performance in class. Since I live far having time to do this in the morning really benefits me to avoid traffic in the afternoon.

I lean into Collaborate the most followed by achieve. The morning flexibility has created time to connect with colleagues about projects, students, and making adjusts to support teachers who are off campus. Elevate is where I find the least amount of focus. Overall it is a great benefit to have flexibility.

I've been leaning into achieve in order to manage daily affairs/materials/emails and it's a really useful time. Once a week the ninth grade does meet to collaborate. I don't specifically focus on using the time to recharge... it's nice to be able to grab a coffee, etc. before first period but once a week I'd like to do something more intentional like exercise or meditation. I've been using other time(s) of day to elevate my practice, not so much the morning. I've appreciated the flexibility!

I love the format. I have definitely used the Achieve section a lot, particularly when other staff members were out. It allowed some prep time when there would otherwise have been none. I definitely use the Recharge by easing into the day with some prep, so that during my prep I can connect with other teachers about lesson ideas, see what's happening in other classes, and ideate! I also use this time to try and catch up on more regular family communication, rather than letting it pile up at the end of the week, when I forgot details or just get busy. I would like to have some more structured opportunities for Elevate. It's just not something I feel like I'm fully utilizing. I spend a lot of time on project design this time of year, and some more structured resources would be great!

I didn't know I needed CARE until we got it. Having the flexibility for CARE in the mornings has been so needed; I feel like a better educator, employee, colleague, human.

What works for me is just knowing that I CAN have a moment to recharge if I need to; sometimes that means I can actually have breakfast before work!

I can't think of what CARE is lacking for me because I feel like I get to work earlier than ever, and can approach the day with a calmer mind.

The category I think I leaned into most earlier this year was recharge; however, because we've had time for CARE, I have much less stress and need less for recharging and now spend CARE time to achieve, making progress on my tasks. I feel much more productive and it sets the day up well for me. I love having the time in the morning to do the "little" things on my ToDo list. I also appreciate having the time for collaboration (planning with the team) and elevating my practice (reading up on strategies, signing up for web based training).

CARE has been a game changer for my mental and physical health, especially when it comes to finding work-life balance. And, I also really appreciate the trust, respect and sincere care that you have for our whole wellbeing. Thank you!
