Artist like drawing fruits. Studying fruits is how they make shapes. Shapes fall in 2 categories: Geometric or Organic. Geometric shapes are squares, hexagons, rectangles, circles. Organic shapes are "free form or one of a kind". Simplifying objects into geometric and organic shapes makes brewing them easier. Some shapes have lines, heavy lines, others have fuzzy soft lines. Some Shapes are realistic when others are just drawn differently.

Form is when a painting or drawing is 3D or very realistic. With sculptures form is real because it takes up 3 dimensional space. Artist use light and shadow effects to make it 3D. Also increasing contrast between highlight and shadow areas. Most artist don't use the dark colors but use brightly color forms against neutral backgrounds to create the illustrations of depth.
