Quid pro quo harassment: A person makes unwelcome sexual advances toward another while promising certain benefits if the person complies.

Hostile environment harassment: Behavior that make an atmosphere uncomfortable enough to interfere with a person's performance.

During the voting process, One of Thomas former employees, Anita Hill comes forward and accuses him of sexual harassment. These accusations are pushed to be investigated and sent to trail before  Senate Judiciary Committee. This trail was made up of a lot of lies and all around foolishness. Another former employee tries to testify about her experience with judge Thomas, but they would not let her go in front of the committee for various reason. I was truly surprised by how many women never reported the harassment, but i understood why they didn't. They feared that their career would suffer and it is already hard being a women in the workplace. Most minority women are taught to just chin up and roll with the punches, but for some enough is enough.
2. Something i found interesting about the movie was the actions of the committee. The fact that the committee was made fully of men who have know idea what its like to experience sexual harassment just shows how bias the committee was against women.
3. The part went Hill is in her office reading all the letters from women all over who have been victims of sexual harassment and they talk about how her bravery has inspired them was the best part for me. Even though I was not happy about the outcome, it was good to see that her hard work wasn't in vein.
