But that did not work. The water was still very dirty and only drinkable for plants. What we could have done differently was add sand and/or cotton balls to filter it out a little more. The filter was pretty harder then i expected. We had to hold cups on top of each other in order for the water to move into the bottom cup, which where it was supposed to be clean. Other ideas that could probably solve the water crisis, maybe put both sand and stone so then both can be removed from the water. and attach coffee filters or filter paper on top of the cup. Probably could also find a way to prevent the water from spilling.
