I was constantly cropping and changing the filter to see what fit best. I liked this outcome because although it's asymmetrical there's a bit of a radial balance to it as the tree of the foreground seemingly shapes the trees of the background like a puzzle piece. It has a tendency to create interesting compositions no matter how you look at them. In this case here for example, even when they're doing something as simple as bathing in the sunlight they still trail in one general direction and as a collective they all generally display one mood. It's very calm and tranquil. I chose this as my atmospheric perspective example because I really like the way each plane is separated. Particularly the foreground, the rocky surface against, the middle ground, the birds and the water. The way the leaves and the branches seemingly connect and as they criss cross and layer over each other creates cool shapes in the background and they almost look fractal because of how endless those shapes seem to be both with the leaves and the webbing of the trees. I think the symmetry along the y axis really contributes to the serenity of the peace and having that landscape against a big blue endless sky reminds me of the way an astronomer or an astronaut might view earth. It's a little more moodier. I think the birds swinging low on the ground like that coming across like black blotches contributes, but also just the textures developed by dead or brown foliage and grass help. It reminds of those movies or television shows where everything starts off quite and tranquil in town until you follow the trail of crow.
