Yes, look into working with Clackamas County and we have a lot of borderline pts, Vancouver, Washington, Marion County (Salem, Woodburn), Washington County huge Latinx Community, there are programs available but nothing culturally competent. 5. We should hold more fairs/events to increase awareness and community knowledge, marketing EPHC better with social media/updated ways to market to our community (grocery bags, bulletins, schools, churches, laundry mats, Latinx populated areas). -How do we help the community understand the meaning of our organization name, meaning behind it, while keeping it inclusive to everyone in community. 6. We should partner with other small organizations and collaborate. This was discussed in a previous group, they concur that we should expand to cover areas where they do not have been reached yet. We can then offer multiple opportunities for BIPOC ppl and the job opp.s for employment at ephc
We should meet with other orgs to collab work, refer and share funds? We like the idea to spread however we need more funds and not specific to mult co.

Development team can help get more funding. 

Meetings w latinx orgs to know what resources they have vs we have and we can work/communicate to collab work. Maybe monthly meetings.  
We have funding for certain projects but not enough $$ for staff, no funding for admin to do that work and the work falls on us. = Burnout
Sometimes w seek services out when we have in house, we need to do a better job with making our services known to staff and community. 
 
Advocacy regarding employee pay, negotiating in contracts. Vs mult co. pay it is very low compared to their rates and of those of other similar agencies offering higher payments. Should be #1 priority, staff wage and advocacy  as it also community advocacy. 
We are falling behind on pay, staff have looked at other agencies, 2 dollars or more pay diff. and makes staff think twice.

Cultutral specific biligunal, under paid 

Under appreciated , turn over rate is hihh

Other opp. Taking and so we don’t wait for agencies not fighting for our ppl, but we don’t even pay employees livable wages. 

Paid less than white counters parts

 

 

 

Updating agency website, so we can update it and it be accessible. Wrong contact #’s and we cant refer ppl to our website. Full list of services not listed there. Will tie our professionalism , we look put tpgether as agency.

Posters/flyers to outreach with our current program to announce our agency and services. 

Community not entirely aware of our services, and contact and connect. We do not know whodoes what.
