<title>1. International-mindedness means looking at issues with a global perspective, rather then a single isolated view. This will lead to better understanding of the issues and lead to a cohesive solution. A person that has the ability to use international-mindedness become a &quot;global citizen.&quot; </title>

<title>2. A &quot;global citizen&quot; as the a mindset that allows them to think about issue and their solutions on a global scale. This means listing to multiple perspectives from multiple cultures, religions, and countries. A &quot;global citizen&quot; views the world as one and does not use difference to drive them apart, but rather looks for similarities that unifies. </title>

<title>4. At the start of the year I have student research multiple scientist that have contributed to the cell theory. I have students read scientific articles that interest them. One student is interested on why parents do not vaccinate their children and looked at data from other countries to see if this is an issue in just United States or also other countries. She is finding that other cultures and religions are apposed to the idea of vaccination. She now has moved how do other countries go about explaining how the advantages out way the possible side effects, and to debunk the myth associated with vaccinations.</title>

<title>6. When I first started giving the student the scientific articles, I was un-knowingly celebrating international-mindedness. I was just trying to get students to read more scientific articles. As I look back, I did not realize that I was unintentional creating international-mindedness. This is because I always viewed scientific advancement as a global responiblity. Starting before the actient Egyptians interest in the human body and how to preserve organs after death to the worlds collective knowledge on the Human Genome Project.</title>
