Enrgy efficiency and climate change adaptation strategies may require significant upfront investments, which can be a challenge for businesses, governments, and individuals with limited financial resources. In my opinion, I do not see a fundamental conflict since the overall and prevailing goal should be a prosperous economy which takes into account all other aspects with the overall goal of “value creation” for all citizens and the globe itself. 

Therefore, we should change our focus and look for opportunities, not conflicts.
