My idea was that cell phones should not be allowed in school. My supporting evidence is that students will often sneak their phones during class even when they are supposed to be put away.

Why would they try to ban cellphones. What if an emergency happened and we all had to say our last words to our parents? how would we text them if we don't have them? What if your doing an art project and you need inspiration but your phone is at your house because of the cell phone ban, how would you draw what you were inspired by? - royale

No they shouldn't ban them because if we are sick then we should call our parents to let them know and so we shouldn't get other people sick. -JOEL

I personally think that there shouldn't be a school cell phone ban. I think that because there's times where students need direct contact with their parents, rather than just going to the office or having your teacher text them for you. Parents are often times to reply instantly to their child.

I think that phones shouldn't be banned just in case if like a lock down or a earthquake (which would be rare to happen but still) or if like you would have to notify a parent if your at school every time your moving to another class or if your not feeling good. -Jordan :)
