The first key idea would reinforce writing is much different as it is now than it was in the 21st century. The idea behind technology, how it is used and how technology can improve our writing reinforces the development of literacy. Furthermore, writing is unique in a way to where literacy is used every day within technology.

A new concept was brought in as to how literacy is affected by concepts such as science. Rather than focusing primally technology, we use different scientific applications in order to improve our writing and help develop and refine the sentences we write.

Writing is historically linked towards testing. When this concept comes into mind, many people believe that testing means something like school tests or writing an essay for a grade. While that is partially true, in terms of testing this comes to development and technique. What type of writing skills we can use and how we can develop them to fit into the modern-day era?

This would in turn show someone's thinking and how they can give off the persona of quality writing.

The differences in writing between standard and technology writing. People in this era are surrounded by technology. They constantly go on social media, seeing the news, perspective on politics and their friends' instagram posts. They can start to write, debate and much more on social media. Reinforcing these skills are much easier than they were when technology was not invented.

Teaching is much different for every student. Students start to learn in different ways and have different methods in which they learn. However, teachers will only teach in one method which wouldn’t be fair to all students. It is making a snake and monkey climb a tree. The main purpose of this is students have different conceptual learning methods therefore writing for them is different from one another. Teachers only want to embrace one method in a way a student cannot comprehend this.

Furthermore, the writing you used within this would give off a persona of organizational neatness.

Write before writing also covers the topic of how people must focus on their main idea before writing. When writing, people tend to get sidetracked therefore it is not efficient for them when writing. The fluidity of their essay is completely off, and they have no organization of what they are writing.

The writing depends on how you want it to be. If you put no effort into your writing, then you're writing will come out very bland. However, the more time you spend on it, revising and consistly then you're writing will come out in a way readers can understand and visualize your main point.

The first key point is the mentality. This is showing how students who either miss an assignment, class or get a bad grade will be excited. They would rather blame others for their mistakes and not accept responsibility for their actions. However, successful students will learn from this mistake, make new plans and talk it out with professors on how they can improve on these mistakes and what are the first steps.

The next key point is risk taking. While many high schools will play their essays safe and go textbook version, ensuring a good/passing grade. This would drill formulas in their head and just have them learn one thing. College students take risks and experiment with new types of writing styles. Contrary to what many high school teachers say, professors want you to show your own understanding by allowing you to prove yourself with your own style of writing.

Lastly, the fairly standard 5 paragraph rule does not particularly apply within college writing. College writing allows you to demonstrate fairly your skills in writing and show how you can specifically be successful with writing, which generally is quite significant.

Writers need revisions. Everyone does. More revisions doesn't necessarily equal better; smarter ones do. Author uses Martin Luther King’s speech as an example. MLK has spoken the same speech multiple times at different locations, each of them could’ve had small revisions but is still known world wide(just hearing “I Had a Dream” is enough to know). Writing is always a work in progress

Professionals will just become good at revising and recognizing what needs to be changed.

The particularly main idea is how they give the persona of changes within writing. They show that revision in writing would be mostly met with smarter and not harder work. This would mean not needing to change your writing if it is good but making very, you're writing fairly more efficient while keeping the same style in a major way.

The next idea is how you can see these changes. When different words mush together to make a coherent sentence, that sentence would be fine as it is as the sentence makes sense, it is correct, and it is expressing the main thought. However, if you can summarize it while keeping it correct in every aspect while showing growth, then that type of revision is better

The last idea is that revising uneasily is bad. Students will tend to revise their work as someone told them to. This would in turn lead to students' self-doubting themselves. Therefore, having students not revise when they don’t need to, rather revising in a smarter way is more effective for their learning.

She explains how reading is treated differently. The approach that one would take for this is different and how one should approach writing is different. Connecting them together wouldn’t be good.

The second thing that stood out was how students must practice this. Students have had the concept drilled that reading and writing must go together. This makes one believe that they would in order to understand. The article describes how this is bad and students need to get out of this habit. In order for that to happen students would need to practice different techniques, however if they are not given the opportunity then they cannot do anything.

Reading nor writing should really be placed above one or the other, or so they thought.

The first key point is what reading like a reader even means. This is stating that people have to understand the text, see what writing techniques are used and how these techniques are made. Then by adopting these techniques, we can use and mimic these in our own writing forming a unique style by adopting different writing skills. RLW is a much deeper understanding of writing truly is. This is showing how writing can be applied in your work while understanding and incorporating different values and opinions.

The second key point would be making sure that the adopted technique is useful to the type of writing you are doing. Depending on the techniques you use, there are different ways to incorporate them. By carefully analyzing them, you can create a work which corresponds and brings out your writing skills to the fullest.

The next key point is learning how to use RLW. Since this technique is still fairly new, it is obvious no one is very good at it and would take time to get used to and to know. However, everyone has a different way of writing, therefore experimentation with this type of writing is necessary. This includes discovering new ways to involve the RLW technique into your own writing and incorporating this into your writing. The purpose of this into why RLW writing is good is incorporating your thoughts and personal beliefs and putting them into a work in order for you to fully understand and grasp the concept of what writing truly is.
