She said that the American Dream means to her "freedom" which means she has the choice to do whatever she wants however she wants. She said that when she was growing up she wanted to be a medical billing and coding because she could stay at home to do it. She said that her American Dream was to be healthy and have a good life with her own family. She told me her influence for her American Dream was her mom, because she did not want to grow up to be like her. Her hopes and dreams came true because she had an amazing family with her 4 kids that help her with everything and anything she needs help with. She told me that the United States is still a "land of opportunity" because everyone can achieve something everyday. The one piece of advice she was given was to try her best and to never give up because at the end of the day it was always her against the world and she did take this advice because she does her best everyday to make sure me and my siblings are healthy and happy. The piece of advice she gave me was to never give up, to try my hardest, and to never listen to what others have to say to you.
