I use this site because I can get the students involved by setting up a calendar that shows when we expect the last freeze to come and when we can start planting outside. We can use our calender to know to plant certain vegetables outside and also to show when we expect them to start growing and how long it will take to be ready to pick. They start counting the days to see how long it will be before they can "harvest" their crop. This site provides a great deal of useful information.

They provide many opportunities to assist in the classes as well as facilities for students to attend field trip experiences at the research campus. They also provide many garden plants and seeds upon request and availability.

They have great lessons that are related to NC Standards. Several virtual lesson videos that were created during COVID that are still very useful. There are also great tips for how to have a successful garden group outside with behavior management ideas, garden stations and expectations.

I think I'm finally in a place (homestead) where I will be able to safely keep bees. I've been looking through the sites online and actually found Pollinator partnership a few months ago and love it so much! I feel like they are written for the more suburban/rural with big farms populations than helpful for an urban elementary with mainly ELL students like mine. So many of your shared resources are of a higher quality.
