This year is my last one at high school De Bron (the Source) in Tielt. Here I study sciences. Although I’ve got many hours of sciences and maths, I don’t want to study anything science-related at university. Therefore this will probably be the last science project in which I participate. Let’s make it a good one!

In my spare time I’ve got a lot to do! I absolutely adore playing AND watching volleyball. I also play music, more specifically the cornet. Recently I have started cycling and I absolutely love it! Together with some of my fellow students, we’re climbing the Mont Ventoux in May. I’m already counting the days! 

Beside all of that, I like meeting with my friends. We like partying, shopping and gossiping (obviously, we’re girls). Although I’m mostly very busy, there’s always some time left for watching a good serie on Netflix!

I guess now you know me pretty well! I’m looking forward to working on the project together! 

‘‘An investment in knowledge pays the best interest’’ (B. Franklin). So let’s introduce myself to make ourselves able to start this project and learn a lot. I am Simon Veermeer. I was born in Tielt on 3 March 2002, which means that I will become an adult next year. I would say that I’m rather tall because I measure 183 cm. My pastime is cycling, which is a really intensive sport and requires a lot of training. When in Belgium you can spot me riding my bike from time to time. Something else that I like to do is snowboarding, but we don’t have mountains here in Belgium, so I only go once a year. If I ever have any time left I also like listening to music or watching Netflix. Obviously my favourite dish is French fries. What else? I’m a Belgian! Wingene is my hometown it’s a small village next to Tielt of which is said that more pigs than humans live there.Obviously it is a small village. I live in Wingene with my parents and my brother. It’s nice to live here because as it is small you almost know everyone. Let’s hope this project allows us to acquire more knowledge and as everyone knows ‘‘knowledge is power’’ (F.Bacon).  

My name’s Emiel. I spend most of my free time practicing different kinds of sports. If I’m not doing sports, I’m having a whale of a time hanging out with my friends or doing activities with my scouting group. There I get a totem based on my characteristics, mine is convivial ibex. 
Due to my exploring soul, I travel a lot. I have a map of the world where you need to scratch the countries you have been to. My dream is to scratch almost every country. I have gotten off to a good start.
Almost all of my time I spend at school or studying at home. I’m in the sixth grade, which means it’s my last year in high school. Next year I’m headed for university. I’m studying sciences and maths right now and I would like to continue studying in that direction. 
I have participated in an eTwinning project like this some time ago. I think the subject we will handle is extremely interesting. The experiments we fulfill are harder than the other experiments we do at school, they need a lot more deepening to fully understand everything that’s going on. 

I am looking forward to cooperating and communicating with you.

I’d like to introduce myself to you.
I’m a shy person at first but I’m outgoing once I get to know someone. I’m carefree because I always have my head in the clouds so I don’t have many problems. Even so, there are bad days.  I’m quite sensitive when someone judges me, especially when they don’t know me.

My perfect friend is someone who is sympathetic, funny and outgoing. Even so, it’s difficult to find a person like this so I have many friends who have only one of these traits.

I play volleyball because it helps me to relax and leave concerns about studying at home.
 In my free times I love researching fashion trends to create my own personal style when I go shopping. My look is elegant but at the same time casual.                                             I like reading in the summer when I’m sunbathing because it’s relaxing. The best book I have ever read is “My brilliant friend” by Elena Ferrante. It is a series composed of four books. I started reading the first book as homework. Then I became keen on reading these books because they were gripping. These are my favourite books , what about yours? 
About four years ago, I chose the scientific High School because I prefer studying scientific subjects. Also because I hope I will be a detective so I’m going to attend criminology at university. I think it will be the best choice for me.
I’m very excited at the idea of meeting  new people who don’t speak my language. It is a fantastic chance to improve my English. I hope that one day we will meet in Italy or in Belgium to speak face to face.

I’m Alice Berti and I’m 16 years old. I’m very sociable, in fact, I love making new friends. I’m also easy-going , so I am hardly ever anxious for a test.

In my free time I play volleyball. I think I am suitable for this sport because I’m tall. My main hobbies are cooking, watching TV series and I really love agriculture. In this period I’m planting a lot of seeds of plants like avocado, lemon and basil. At the weekends I enjoy staying with my friends, we usually go to eat pizza at the restaurant or we go to the disco, we could dance for hours!

Three years ago I chose to go to the Scientific High school in Lugo, because I like Science and Maths and because I was curious to learn Latin. At the moment I don’t like Latin and it is the subject in which I get the worst marks.  I don’t regret  this choice, but now I’d like to study less during the afternoon.

In my future I’m going to go to University. Now I haven’t any idea about which faculty I will want to attend, but I think I will choose to go into Medicine. I know that it will be hard to pass the exams but I will try anyway.

I’ m looking forward to starting the e-twinning  project and I wish that we could make friends with all of you  even if we can’t meet face to face.
