The average price for gas across the U.S. surpassed $4.50 a gallon on Tuesday, the highest it's been in nearly four years.

As the war in Iran drags on, and the Strait of Hormuz, the critical channel for oil and international trade, remains choked off, drivers in the U.S. are feeling pain at the pump.

The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas across the country jumped to $4.51 on Tuesday, the highest it's been since July 17, 2022, according to GasBuddy, a company that helps consumers find the cheapest gas.

Hantavirus is associated with rodents and is passed person to person. On the MV Hondius cruise ship has had an outbreak of this virus since April 11 three people have died and more are sick. Right now it is a low risk to the public and is at a level three. The cruise will dock at Tenerife and once all the passenger are off with be disinfected. After this Spanish authorities will start an investigation.

It is considered low risk for the general public. The hantavirus is only level 3 so a low level emergency. Spanish authorities will conduct a full epidemiological investigation and disinfect the ship after it docks. There were a 147 people on the ship exposed to the virus.

The Pentagon on Friday released what it says are “never-before-seen files” on UFOs after President Donald Trump directed the agency to do so earlier this year.

The batch of files outlines various investigations of reported sightings of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena that span decades.

The NCAA announced Thursday that it will expand its two March Madness tournaments by eight teams each next season, a long-expected move that will drop more games into the first week of the highly popular and lucrative showcase without substantially changing its overall form.

The new, 76-team brackets will jam eight extra games — for a total of 12 involving 24 teams — into the front half of the first week of the men’s and the women’s tournaments. It will turn what’s now known as the First Four into a bigger affair that will now be called the “March Madness Opening Round.”

The 12 winners will move into the main 64-team bracket that will begin, as usual, on Thursday for the men and Friday for the women.

It is the first expansion of the tournaments in 15 years, when they were bumped to 68 teams each.

He is now trying to push Iran into a deal and hold the ceasefire together.
Overall, the war is not going the way he wanted.

Out in the ocean there is a Great Pacific garbage patch, this patch of garbage is leading to a much bigger problem. Tons of peaces of trash swirl in this spot and when they do they hit each other and break down into smaller pieces. These pieces are small enough to get picked up in the wind and in our air. This could be a big problem for our health and pollution of the sea and air.

The manhunt for a special forces veteran accused of shooting his wife ended when his body was found Wednesday, the Stewart County Sheriff’s Office said.

“Initial indications show he died due to a self inflicted gunshot wound,” the sheriff’s office said.

Craig Berry, 53, was wanted on suspicion of attempted murder after he attacked his wife at their Tennessee home and shot her as she tried to drive away on the night of April 30, the Stewart County Sheriff’s Office said. His wife, who suffered a neck wound, has been released from the hospital.

Police officers tracked a tip down and stalked Brummonds home when they found the child 🤬, after the investigation, they found hundreds of photos and videos on his phone and on his computer. He said he knew what he was doing "was immoral and wrong to view and share them."
