understanding the fundamental aspects of culture and all the values that come upon as well, all depicted and seen differently in a new setting and brought into a different light. In all reality what an individual does in their culture, and many other cultures as well, nothing is natural. in an individual's culture, when something is done that is correct to the person or is seen as something normal, in another light, it can be wrong in another person's culture. All the components of culture stated were the symbols, language, values/standards, norms, and material artifacts all of the components depicted and explained how no matter what we see as something normal to the person, in reality, everything is different and nothing is quite normal, understanding how in other cultural and differences how everything is seen and presented, all different but all hold a meaning to individuals bad or good.

The reading, talks about the people called the nacirema, describing their culture and the significance of how their standards are performed, and how, the people are described doing their performing rituals and exorcisms of their life and how they take a place in their own humanity. In the first take their performances were odd to me and I was very interested in the way the people did their doings and how they went by them and how their standards were described, but in all reality the whole meaning of nacirema is just American spelled backwards. It's all just about American culture and how the standards are here in America just depicted in certain ways, to see that in reality American culture is not normal, nor any culture is, but it just shows what is normal to an American and how an average American strives to be.
