I am a researcher at the Central Siberian Botanical Garden. I am engaged in the conservation of Siberian orchids, and in general environmental biology. I am teaching a master's course at Novosibirsk State University, and I also work with the regional government as an expert. In 2021, my colleagues described a new IPA Orchid Zapovednik (see the link https://www.researchgate.net/publication/350707149_An_orchid_Orchidaceae-rich_area_recommended_for_preservation_in_Novosibirsk_Region_Russia). In 2007-2010, my colleagues implemented a large-scale project to allocate 92 IPAs in the Altai-Sayan Ecoregion (see the English summary of the final book https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RjCZpr5lfeTRnIZBBPyvzvw9dzactAZ-/view?usp=sharing), but the territories were not included in the general register. I want to continue their work and initiate a project, IPAs of the Novosibirsk region.

I work for NGO, Community Assistance in Development, COMAID based in Bamenda, Cameroon. COMAID mostly works along the Bamenda Highlands Region of Cameroon where for now some IPAs have been identified. The formalization process of the identified IPAs is ongoing.
