Explain this image in light of Baptism as a Sacrament:
Baptism opens the doors to a life without original sin and communion with God. In the picture, there is a bright path ahead. Through Baptism, there is a bright path illuminated for us, the kingdom of God. If we continue on the path that God has offered us through the Sacrament of Baptism, we will reach the Kingdom of Heaven. We go through a path beginning at Baptism where we or our parents say yes to God and beginning on the path to learning about Him. Baptism is the device through which we are regenerated and building community of the church.

Rebirth. Regeneration.
A. How is water used in the ritual? does water used in the ritual remind us of Spiritual rebirth and regeneration?
To baptize means to "plunge" or "immerse" into the water. This symbolizes the catechumen's burial into Christ's death, and his resurrection as "a new creature." Through Christ's example we can learn about rebirth through his resurrection. We are also renewed through baptism in the same sense.

B. From what are we reborn? And why do we need regeneration?
We are reborn from Original sin. We are saying yes to God. It is how we enter "the Kingdom of God". We need regeneration to clear our souls and make room for God. We need regeneration for ourselves too, so that we can be on the road to salvation.
C. How does the ritual help us physically experience what Gxd through The Holy Trinity does for us Spiritually?
Physically, we are being washed with water and oil in Baptism. The sacrament is also know as "the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit," and saying yes to entering the Kingdom of God.

Enlightenment...
The baptismal candle is lit from the Easter candle's flame.
It is given to the baby and family to take home.
A. What does this physical experience of lighting a small candle from the Church's large one show us and teach us about our Spiritual experience?
The baptism bath is called enlightenment, because those who receive this sacrament are enlightened in their understanding and relationship with God. In this sacrament, we receive "the light of God." A sacrament is a sign of a spiritual reality. It is being reborn in the spirit and people (or their parents) are saying yes to God. It is a spiritual promise to be brought up in the faith.
B. Why is it a candle that is lit up and not a flashlight?
It is a candle because candles have to be ignited by faith to have a long lasting light of enlightenment. It radiates heat or positivity for the future with God.

A. Choose a quote from one of the saints noted in this section.
And quote it.
"Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life." Saint Paul the Apostle
B. What does this quote mean? In your own words.
Paul believes that through Baptism, you are in communion with Christ in his death, are buried with him, and rise with him.
C. Why did you choose this quote to focus upon?
Through baptism, we decide to say yes to God for the rest of our life, and Paul also brings to light that in communion with him, we share all experiences with him.
D. Choose an image to remind you of what it's teaching us about having Gxd's Word within us. This means Gxd is always right with us.
When he choses Pikachu in the beginning of the show, they stick together through thick and thin. They work together just like us and God. They chose each other and agreed to go on their journey together. In Baptism, we agree to go on a spiritual journey with God.
