This can take place in how a teacher relays information to students, such as PowerPoint, Padlet, Flipgrids, etc. But it can and should also take place in the way that students respond and engage with their learning. This looks like allowing students to create work that feels best representative of them, varying the ways student engage with technology in their work, and creating meaningful collaboration opportunities.
