         <description><![CDATA[<div>The 12 Tables were laws that were inscribed onto bronze tablets created in 451-450 B.C. They were written so that citizens were treated equally before them. Society in Ancient Rome was based on property, wealth, citizenship and freedom. It was mostly based around men, women were defined by the social status of their father or husband.</div>]]></description>

For example, Constantine made Constantinople the capital of Rome and was the first christian  emperor. Until Christianity was made the religion of Rome, some of the most important Roman gods were Jupiter, Juno, Neptune and Mars, just to name a few.</div>]]></description>

The Romans imported a huge amount of goods they didn't/couldn't grow. Rome did grow or export quite a few things though, such as grapes, grain, and wine.</div>]]></description>
