In the simulation, my colonial troops attacked the English troops but were unsuccessful. We lost troops, supplies, and morale.

What actually happened?

The Battle of Lexington was part I of a 2 part battle that began the American Revolution. British troops marched towards Concord with the goal of seizing colonial weapons and ammunition. Following the warning of Paul Revere, colonial minutemen militia met them in the middle of the town square at Lexington to stop the British forces from advancing. Colonial troops were scattered and British forces continued marching to Concord.

In the simulation, I chose to attack. My troops successfully defeated the British troops. I gained morale and supplies but lost a few troops.

What actually happened?

The Battle of Concord was part II of a 2 part battle that began the American Revolution. Following the battle of Lexington, the militia at concord successfully ran off the British by firing at them from behind cover. The British, looking for colonial weapons and ammunition in Concord, never found them. The significance is that the battle was a huge blow to British morale and showed the Colonists that they might have a chance to win if war did break out. This was the first "shots fired" in the American Revolution.

The problem was sent to Congress to vote on. The first season to vote had 37% votes for yes, 14% for no and 54% undecided. If yes was decided, then we get medical support from the South and overall unity gain. Next season, the final vote, yes won.

What happened in real life?

The problem was also sent to Congress. They needed more money and the pay was increased. In the end it was passed in 1778. Colonels received $75, Captains received $40, and Privates received about $6 per month.
