I'm heartbroken to hear this. I wish I had the words to adequately convey how sorry I am or something that could help heal your heart. I had the privilege of meeting Patrick my first year at Gray when I shared a classroom with his ELA teacher. I remember he was so calm, quiet, and shy... until he let his sense of humor show! And, oh my goodness, what a sense of humor he had! He had these amazing one- liners, that were truly hilarious and perfectly timed. He was so kind and friendly, and I remember connecting that he was your son and thinking, "Ahhhh... that's where he gets his awesome personality". May you find the same beautiful connection to Patrick's personality through his little girls and may it bring you comfort in the difficult times.
